The Skills Development Programme was one of Palmtouch Foundation Africa’s flagship empowerment initiatives aimed at improving the economic resilience of women through practical skills training and entrepreneurship development.
The programme equipped participants with hands-on training in pastry production, financial literacy, and business management, enabling participants to develop sustainable income-generating opportunities and strengthen their financial independence.
By combining vocational skills with entrepreneurial and financial education, the initiative empowered women to establish and grow small businesses, improve household incomes, and contribute to the socio-economic development of their communities. The programme reflects Palmtouch Foundation Africa’s commitment to empowering women through skills development and creating pathways to long-term self-reliance and economic growth.
